1. General Description
The XE75GR dual-purpose road-rail excavator is equipped with a dedicated sleeper replacement module, which can realize mechanized ballast removal and sleeper replacement operations. It is mainly composed of the dismounting assembly, the onboard assembly, the working device, the power system, the hydraulic system and the control system. The bottom of the dismounting assembly is equipped with a crawler travel mechanism, and the front and rear ends are equipped with rail guide mechanisms. The onboard assembly has a slewing device, a cab and a power room. The cab is integrated with a control system. The power room is equipped with a power system, a hydraulic system and an internal combustion emergency system. The working device includes a boom, a bucket rod, a ballast removal mechanism and a pillow clamping mechanism.
The XE75GR dual-purpose road-rail excavator is crawler-type and has both road and rail functions. It can freely get on and off the ballasted line. The track shoes are made of rubber plates to ensure that it can walk on the rails without damaging the rails. The front and rear rail guide mechanisms can ensure that it will not fall off the rails when walking on the rails.
The working arm height of the XE75GR road-rail dual-purpose excavator adopts electrical and mechanical dual limit, and the rotation adopts electrical limit. It can be controlled by buttons to four operating modes: 360° rotation, reciprocating rotation within 180° on the left, reciprocating rotation within 180° on the right, and double-line operation left and right rotation limit angle 107° to meet the requirements of double-line safety operation; at the same time, the working arm height limit can be released under special circumstances to meet the operating requirements of special working conditions.
The XE75GR road-rail dual-purpose excavator is equipped with an internal combustion emergency system. When the engine or hydraulic pump fails, the multi-functional line sleeper changer can be operated through the emergency system to leave the dangerous area.
The XE75GR road-rail dual-purpose excavator is equipped with a bucket module, a sleeper change module, a sleeper box narrow bucket module and a vibrating screening bucket module to achieve a variety of operating functions.
The XE75GR road-rail dual-purpose excavator can use a hydraulic quick connector to achieve rapid replacement between modules.
2. Main structure and performance parameters
The XE75GR road-rail dual-purpose excavator consists of an excavator and functional modules. The main machine adopts a general crawler excavator chassis, and each functional module is disassembled and assembled with the excavator by quick-change connection.

The excavator body is an external corridor modular cover body with a chassis bearing structure. It is equipped with good cold-proof, heat-insulating and sound-proof facilities to ensure normal operation under the specified operating conditions. The noise in the driver's cab meets the requirements of GB/T16710 "Noise Limits for Earth-moving Machinery", and fire-fighting equipment is available in the driver's cab.
